WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Momentum is looking for an incredible Senior Vice President, Sports Marketing to join one of the fastest growing teams in Momentum's history. The SVP will lead and grow key client relationships through best-in-class sports partnerships and integrated experiential marketing programs. This role sits at the intersection of partnership strategy and account leadership leading the development of an ecosystem around passion points of sports fans. The SVP will serve as the senior day-to-day business lead, responsible for driving growth, ensuring operational excellence, and delivering impactful sponsorship and experiential programs. The ideal candidate brings deep agency experience, strong business acumen, and a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in developing and activating integrated campaigns that drive measurable results. You are equally comfortable shaping partnership strategy, negotiating with properties, leading integrated execution, and serving as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO (RESPONSIBILITIES)
Client & Business Leadership
  • Serve as the senior business lead and trusted advisor for assigned account and clients
  • Responsible for growth and profitability, attaining annual revenue and contribution margin targets.
  • Lead high-impact client presentations and confidently articulate strategic recommendations.
  • Brand champion, leading partnership strategy development for assigned account(s)- demonstrates passion for the best creative product
  • Troubleshoots conflicts with senior clients and team members.
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of Momentum's core disciplines, with expertise in one or more discipline, and is proactive in growing client business across the agency.
  • Foster strong relationships across the senior client marketing team, ensuring our teams function in alignment without fear of the tough conversations needed along the way
  • Drive growth for the agency and the team through compelling client and new business presentation capability.
  • Actively contributes to new business efforts working in conjunction with senior management and external agency partners, may lead new business pitches and RFPs.
  • Actively is on cutting edge of industry trends with the goal of cross-selling new agency services to client.

Partnership & Experiential Leadership
  • Guide the development of sponsorship, partnership and experiential strategies aligned to client business objectives
  • Provide oversight across property evaluation, negotiation, asset management and activation execution
  • Lead the creation of integrated channel plans spanning experiential, content, social, digital, influencer, media and hospitality
  • Ensure programs are executed seamlessly from strategic development through in-market delivery and post-program analysis
  • Establish clear performance measurement frameworks and ROI methodologies

Integrated Team Leadership
  • Lead cross-disciplinary and multi-agency teams to deliver fully integrated marketing programs
  • Partner closely with strategy, creative, production, media and analytics leads to ensure cohesive execution
  • Institute consistent processes that drive efficiency, clarity and accountability across the entire team
  • Proactively troubleshoot challenges and remove barriers to success

Talent Development & Culture
  • Lead and develop Business Leadership team members

HERE'S WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR (QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS)
  • Bachelor's degree, preferred
  • 12+ years related experience in marketing
  • 10+ years agency experience preferred, heavily weighted toward partnership marketing and account management
  • An entrepreneurial attitude. Pro-active thinking. Ability to drive thoughtful dialog, own a room and roll with the punches
  • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale sponsorships and experiential activations
  • Experience overseeing property negotiations and asset management within sports or entertainment partnerships
  • Proven ability to manage complex, integrated programs across multiple channels.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing revenue targets, budgets and staffing plans
  • Exceptional client management skills with experience engaging senior marketing stakeholders
  • Strategic thinker who can connect business objectives to partnership and experiential solutions
  • Confident presenter with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated success leading multi-disciplinary teams and developing senior talent
  • Ability to perform in fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities simultaneously

The salary range for this position is $200,000 to $210,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; location and region; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee's/applicant's background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
Omnicom's policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom's corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
