Job description

Overview: The Vice President of Americas Asset Servicing is a key leadership role responsible for driving the operational efficiency, accuracy, and compliance of Asset Servicing functions across the Americas. This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, a deep understanding of the diverse market practices across the Americas, and a proven ability to manage high-risk operational processes. The Vice President will be responsible for implementing process enhancements, identifying opportunities for automation, and strengthening the control environment to reduce operational risk while delivering a superior client service experience.

Responsibilities: Process Optimization and Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for process automation, simplification, and standardization across the Americas to enhance operational efficiency, reduce operational risk, and improve scalability. Training & Development: Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for Americas Asset Servicing teams, ensuring a high level of competency, adherence to best practices, and continuous skill development. Team Management & Development: Manage, mentor, and develop the corporate actions teams, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement while implementing targeted training programs to address the complexities.

Complex Issue Resolution: Serve as a key escalation point for complex operational issues, conducting in-depth root cause analysis and implementing effective, sustainable solutions that can be applied across the Americas. Root Cause Analysis & Solution Implementation: Conduct sophisticated, in-depth analyses to identify the root causes of systemic operational challenges within LATAM Asset Servicing, spearheading the development and implementation of solutions. Metrics and Reporting: Ability to analyze operational metrics, identify critical trends, and pinpoint areas of opportunity for process enhancement and risk reduction.

Strategic Stakeholder Relationships: Cultivate and sustain strategic relationships with critical stakeholders, including clients, internal business units, and global product partners, to enhance service delivery. Drive Strategic Initiatives: Lead and drive strategic initiatives focused on transforming process efficiency, significantly reducing operational risk, and enhancing overall client satisfaction across the Americas Asset Servicing landscape. Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in financial services operations, with significant expertise in all aspects of corporate actions, including both NAM and LATAM markets.

Demonstrated leadership experience with a proven ability to manage operational teams, drive change, and enhance processes in a high-volume environment. Comprehensive knowledge of a wide array of investment instruments and the specific nuances of corporate action processing in the Americas. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with experience in implementing process improvements (e.g., automation, workflow redesign)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex information to a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
