Vice President-Regional Operations-Delaware Valley Paving
Delaware Valley Paving is seeking a high-impact Vice President of Operations to lead and scale all field and project operations across our asphalt and concrete divisions.
This is a hands-on critical leadership role responsible for driving execution, enforcing standards, and ensuring every project is delivered on time, on budget, and at the highest level of quality.
The VP Ops will play a critical role in shaping the future of DVP, with a clear path to profit sharing tied directly to operational performance and company growth.
What You’ll Own
Operational Execution amp; Accountability
- Lead all operational deliverables across paving and concrete divisions
- Ensure projects meet schedule, budget, and margin targets
- Establish and enforce KPIs for production, efficiency, and cost control
- Drive accountability across teams on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
Project Management Leadership
- Oversee Project Managers, Superintendents, and field leadership
- Standardize planning, scheduling, and execution processes
- Ensure proper job setup including scope alignment, resource allocation, and risk mitigation
- Implement structured project reviews (pre, during, and post-project)
Profitability amp; Cost Control
- Own gross margin performance across all projects
- Identify and eliminate inefficiencies in labor, equipment, and production
- Improve forecasting accuracy and real-time budget tracking
- Reduce rework, downtime, and material waste
- Align field execution with estimating assumptions
Process Development amp; Standardization
- Build and enforce SOPs across all operations
