VP of Sales and Business Development

 The VP of Sales & BD Role - Engineering & Sourcing Services will be a hands-on + strategic role that will lead revenue growth, strategic client acquisition, and operational alignment for the North American market. This executive will own annual revenue targets, build strategic client partnerships, build sales organization, and position the company as a trusted engineering and Global Sourcing partner for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Growth & Business Development

  • Own revenue targets and gross margin performance.
  • Develop strategy for different sectors for Engineering & Sourcing
  • Build 12 - 24-month strategic pipelines

  • Drive measurable cost savings for clients.
  • Work with VSG teams in Asia and supply base to build strategies and revenue models

Client & Executive Relationship Management

  • Engage at VP, Director, and C-level within client organizations.
  • Negotiate MSAs, long-term contracts, and strategic partnerships.
  • Represent company at industry events and trade associations.

Operational Alignment with VSG Engineering and Sourcing Teams in Asia

  • Ensure strong coordination between US clients and VSG teams in Asia.
  • Establish performance dashboards and KPIs
  • Oversee client satisfaction and long-term retention.
  • Build and Mentor sales and BD teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Software, Electrical, Industrial, or related).
  • 10+ years of experience in engineering services, Asia sourcing, or global supply chain.
  • 5+ years in leadership role (Director or Senior Manager level).
  • Proven track record of growing revenue in B2B engineering or Technical Services
  • Strong understanding of Engineering, manufacturing processes and cost structures; global sourcing and offshore engagement models
  • Demonstrated success in closing $500K+ deals.
