As Vice President, Insurance Solutions Business Development, you will lead efforts to grow the insurance general account business across North America by developing new client relationships and expanding existing partnerships. You will collaborate cross-functionally with investment, product, marketing, and relationship management teams to identify and execute on strategic growth opportunities. The role involves driving complex, consultative sales processes and contributing to the development of tailored investment solutions aligned to insurer needs. You will also represent the organization at industry events and support refinement of product strategies for insurance clients.
Salary range for this position: $220,000 - $250,000/Year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.   • 5-10 years of relevant experience with increasing responsibility and demonstrated success raising assets within the insurance general account channel
  • Familiarity with the insurance asset management market in North America including a working understanding of the investment needs of various insurer types (life, health, P&C) and the various accounting, regulatory and capital issues that drive the decisions of insurance general account allocators
  • Ability to identify and close complex business development opportunities and partner with various Macquarie stakeholders in a consultative sales process
  • Ability to partner with investment professionals across private credit, real assets, real estate, and private equity strategies
  • Ability to coordinate and manage marketing and sponsorship opportunities in order to maximize impact to the insurance solutions business
  • Ability to leverage technology to design, improve, and execute an efficient and effective front-to-back business development strategy
