Job description

We are seeking a Loan Documentation Specialist III to join our team in Paradise, PA. This role is responsible for the quality control review and documenting of Commercial and Agricultural loans. This is a great opportunity to join a wonderful team and make in an impact in community banking!
Essential Duties:
  • Review Credit Presentation Summary, Credit Quest Memos, and Closing Request Form.
  • Review property search or preliminary title and HUD-1 settlement statements for accuracy of ownership of collateral and lien information.
  • Review customer identification for accuracy, including business entity documentation.
  • Review loan file for HMDA reportability and complete the HMDA Worksheet as applicable.
  • Review hazard insurance for adequate coverage and mortgagee/loss payee clause(s) and collaborate with Lenders Assistants, Lenders, and insurance agents to resolve any discrepancies.
  • Verify all Bank requirements for flood insurance are met.
  • Organize documents in efile per guidelines, removing duplicate items.
  • Prepare loan payoffs, assess applicable satisfaction fees to loans, restrict and set lines of credit to close at a zero balance, place alert messages on loans.
  • Prepare documentation and letters of credit.
  • Maintain collateral swap loan modifications in OnBoard Loans or LaserPro.
  • Calculate loan fees and prepare a Funding Worksheet.
  • Complete the Pre-closing Checklist and Document Checklist.
  • Maintain a Loans in Process spreadsheet for loan tracking.
  • Print loan disbursement checks and review loan settlement packages.
  • Communicate with outside vendors, including but not limited to settlement agents and title companies, insurance agents, attorneys, and property search vendors.
  • Train Loan Documentation Specialists II.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience:
  • Five or more years of experience in preparing commercial loan documentation.
  • Problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Intermediate keyboarding skills
  • Moderately complex math skills
  • Knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Ability to create written materials.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and customers.
