Job description

Housekeeper - Willowtree Apartments & Tower
Department: Property Maintenance
Employment Type: Full Time
Location: Willowtree Apartments & Tower - Ann Arbor, MI
Reporting To: Senior Service Manager
Description
As a Housekeeper, you'll play a critical part in maintaining an ACC student housing community. In this role, you will clean and maintain the property, including amenities, to enhance the living experience for our residents. At ACC, there are always opportunities to grow in your career - whether it is by supporting nearby properties or on the job training.
  • Clean the property to standard, including vacuuming, mopping, and trash pickup.
  • Vacuuming, mopping and/or shampooing floors in resident rooms and common areas.
  • Cleaning and stocking bathrooms, including tub, shower, and toilet areas.
  • Assist in property turnover process.
  • Assist in maintaining clean and orderly shops, storage areas, and back-of house environments, ensuring all supplies are organized.
  • Other duties, as assigned by supervisor.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for the Housekeeper role is a reliable and detail-oriented individual with experience in or willingness to learn housekeeping and property and apartment upkeep. This role includes maintaining cleanliness across common areas, common resident spaces, and turnover preparation.
Candidates should be able to follow established procedures, maintain organized work areas, and support property and apartment standards. Prior experience is helpful but not required, as candidates will have the opportunity to learn and grow in the role.
