Job description

Currently looking for Dinner and Weekend Delivery Drivers.

Our Delivery Drivers regularly take home $25+ an hour with a combination of tips, a driver maintenance reimbursement (DMR), and their hourly wage.

Flexible shift hours available. Work as short as 11am-2pm or work through Lunch and Dinner. There is something for everyone's schedule.

Tips and DMR are paid out daily.

A Jimmy John's Delivery Driver's goal is to get that sandwich in the customer's hand as quickly as possible. We do this by learning the most efficient routes, double-checking orders to ensure everything is accounted for, and hustling on our feet (while always being safe and law abiding on the street). While not on the road, Delivery Drivers work in the store (preparing sandwiches, taking orders, helping clean) and are compensated accordingly. Delivery is a customer service job, so following a customer's request and doing it with a smile can lead to more successful days.

Requirements:

  • MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD
  • MUST HAVE A VEHICLE, VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE, PROOF OF INSURANCE, AND A CLEAN DRIVING RECORD
  • MUST DRIVE SAFE AND OBEY THE RULES OF THE ROAD
  • WILL WORK AS AN INSHOPPER WHEN THERE ARE NO DELIVERIES

Benefits:

  • The potential to earn up to $25+ per hour (This includes tips, DMR, and your hourly wage)
  • Reimbursement towards your personal cell phone use
  • Free employee meals every shift
  • Career/Promotion Opportunities
  • Retirement Planning through Illinois Secure Choice
  • Earned Paid Time Off after waiting period
