You will help ensure quality through automated testing, CI/CD practices, and production support activities that strengthen platform reliability and performance. Your technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams will be critical as you help evaluate emerging technologies, contribute to proof-of-concept initiatives, and mentor junior engineers. This is an opportunity to join a high-performing team where innovation, continuous learning, and ownership are valued and encouraged.

What you have

  • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience working with messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ or similar event-streaming platforms.
  • Experience developing solutions using JSON, XML, synchronous and asynchronous services.
  • Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) and relational database design concepts.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of application architecture, web application environments, session management, deployment strategies, security, performance optimization, and debugging methodologies.
  • Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and participation on Scrum teams.
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices, automated testing, and deployment pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with development and delivery tools such as Git, Jenkins, Bamboo, Jira, MTM, Zephyr, or similar platforms.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building and deploying cloud-native applications and microservices architectures.
  • Experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry or comparable private/public cloud platforms.
  • Experience supporting portfolio management, investment research, trading, or financial services technology platforms.
  • Knowledge of modern software architecture patterns, distributed systems, and scalable application design.
  • Experience evaluating emerging technologies and contributing to proof-of-concept initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive technical innovation while balancing business objectives, quality, and operational excellence.

In addition to the salary range, this role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
