Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (5x8s)

Requirements
  • Texas Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License
  • Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • BLS Certification (AHA only)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience
  • Clinical Fellowship Year completed
Job Summary

The Speech Language Pathologist evaluates, treats, and monitors patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. This role develops individualized treatment plans, provides patient and family education, collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team, and maintains timely clinical documentation.

 Responsibilities
  • Perform speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust goals as needed
  • Educate patients, families, and staff
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation and charge entry
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members
  • Support students and volunteers as applicable
  • Follow evidence-based practice and regulatory guidelines
