Job description

Amergis Healthcare Staffing, Inc.-Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a travel job in Waco, Texas.

Required Qualifications

✅ Active Texas Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License
✅ Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
BLS Certification (AHA only)
✅ Minimum 1 year of SLP experience
✅ Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completed

Job Responsibilities
  • Complete speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Monitor progress and modify goals as needed
  • Provide education to patients, families, and staff
  • Maintain accurate documentation and charge entry
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
  • Follow evidence-based practice and regulatory standards
  • Assist with students and volunteers when applicable

  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask
  • Experience with EMR systems and rehabilitation equipment
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced rehab environment
 Must-Haves
  • Texas SLP License
  • Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Completed CFY
  • AHA BLS Certification
  • Minimum 1 year of experience
  • Rehab experience preferred
  • Strong swallowing/dysphagia evaluation skills
