The Quality Assurance Furniture Technician position is located in Tracy, CA.
You'll be excited about this opportunity because you will...
  • Able to perform wood and upholstery repairs including burn-ins, wood raining and clear finish
  • Repair on top surface (larger than ½ inch)
  • Color match on top surface
  • Proper applications of sealers and top coats
  • Polishing top coat to vendor specifications
  • Cross grain scratches burn in and rubbed out
  • Proper application of finishes using spray gun

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • At least 1 year experience
  • Upholstery and wood repairs including burn-ins
  • Positive attitude with strong work ethic
  • Ability to multi-task with excellent attention to detail
  • Self-motivating individual able to work independently and collaboratively
  • Dependable and deadline oriented with ability to perform under pressure
  • Excellent attendance, communication skills, and willingness to be a part of a team, performing whatever duties are necessary
  • Furniture repair skill assessment testing will be required as part of interview process

  • Previous experience with painting, wood assembly, wood repair, and/or similar craftsmanship
  • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to work under pressure and fast learner
  • Availability to work full time schedule which may include nights, weekends and holidays
  • Willingness to be part of a team
  • Furniture repair skills assessment testing may be required as part of the interview process
