Job Summary
Provides evaluation, direction and application of skilled nursing services to carry out the plan of care and treatment primarily in the homes of clients, and within the realm of accepted standards of practice for a Registered Professional Nurse.
Job Requirements
Education
Required: Graduate of an approved nursing program.
Experience
Required: Minimum of six (6) months experience as registered professional nurse within the last three (3) years in a hospital, nursing home or home care setting.
Skills
Ability to demonstrate good nursing judgment with minimal supervision.
Ability to deal effectively and courteously with clients, families, coworkers, and physicians, and exhibit an empathetic attitude toward the sick and elderly.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
Required: MO RN License.
Required: Successful completion of competency testing.Education: Required: Graduate of a state board accredited School of Nursing or NLN approved programExperience: Preferred: Previous nursing experience Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team. Carry out delegated tasks as directed by supervisors or with provider oversite.
