Airline Technical Representative
Orlando, Florida – Hybrid (onsite amp; remote)
$170–190K (Depending on Experience) – Full Time with Benefits
Take your career to the next level with us! R.M. Chin amp; Associates, Inc. (CHIN) is seeking an Airline Technical Representative with experience in both design and construction in an active airport. Familiarity with airline and airport operations is required. Candidates require a minimum of fifteen years of design and construction experience on airport or airline projects. This position will serve in a liaison capacity between the MCO and the executive committee. Client-facing skills are also required.
Qualification Requirements:
  • Serve as the primary liaison between airlines, airport stakeholders, project teams, and contractors to support project delivery in active operational environments.
  • Bridge airport objectives, airline operational priorities, and project delivery requirements to support successful project outcomes.
  • Advocate for airline parties to identify and communicate project impacts to including airfield operations, gate availability, baggage system, passenger flow, and airline support spaces.
  • Coordinate operational planning and construction phasing strategies to minimize disruption to airline operations and passenger experience while understanding the comprehensive project goals.
  • Facilitate stakeholder coordination and resolution of operational, technical, and scheduling challenges throughout project delivery.
  • Monitor project activities and communicate milestones, risks, operational impacts, and mitigation to airline stakeholders.
  • Represent and advocate airline interests during planning, design, construction, testing, activation, and operational transition activities.
  • Have a technical understanding of basic airport construction means and methods.
  • Evaluate proposed project changes for operational impacts and support development of practical mitigation and implementation strategies.
  • Education – bachelor’s degree in architecture, construction management, civil engineering, or highly-related discipline preferred.
  • Experience – 15+ years of design and construction experience on airport projects.
  • Project scope / budget preparation.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Candidate must demonstrate a willingness to acquire new responsibilities and skills, and work in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
This role is responsible for understanding the overall project / program scope and managing the assigned project or group of projects. Efforts will entail the planning, design, implementation, cost control, quality functions, and project closeout. Stakeholder coordination and strong communication are also key roles.
