Western National is seeking a Senior Claims Support Specialist to join our team! The individual in this role will have the opportunity to provide administrative and clerical support to our Claims Team.


What are the responsibilities and opportunities of this role?

  • Keeps accurate and current records in designated systems that are accessible to others.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert for other support staff, providing technical training as needed.
  • Updates reports, prints checks, and understands relevant information.
  • Seeks relevant information and answers to key questions from defined sources.
  • Receives supervision on non-routine issues and tasks.
  • Applies knowledge to help solve problems of relatively limited scope and complexity.
  • Follows established procedures with limited discretion to vary from said procedures.
  • Contacts other internal departments and team members.
  • Answers incoming customer calls for the department.
  • Communicates primarily on task- or learning-related matters, creating and delivering a variety of messages and information.
  • Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.

Compensation overview

The full hiring range for this role is $23.25 - $30.69, hourly. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on the job-related knowledge, skills, credentials, and experience of each candidate, as well as other factors such as the scope and location of the role. Candidates looking for compensation outside of the posted range are encouraged to apply and will be considered based on their individual qualifications and / or may be considered for other positions.
