• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' social, emotional, and psychological states to inform treatment planning.
• Provide individual and group counseling sessions employing evidence-based therapeutic practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.
• Develop customized service plans that focus on achievable goals, regularly reviewing progress to adapt strategies as needed.
• Actively advocate for clients by navigating and connecting them to essential resources, support services, and addressing social justice issues.
• Contribute to program development efforts, including evaluation and grant reporting, by documenting your work and providing insights for improvement.
• Collaborate with community organizations, government entities, and volunteers to enhance service delivery and client outcomes.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives aimed at raising awareness about available mental health services and social justice advocacy needs.

Your work will directly impact diverse individuals and families coping with various challenges, including mental health issues, trauma, economic hardships, and systemic barriers. • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Possession of an active Maryland State License as a Certified Social Worker-Clinical (LCSW-C) is mandatory.

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial for maintaining client rapport and facilitating discussions with multidisciplinary teams.

• Two years of clinical experience, ideally in a nonprofit healthcare setting or similar environment, is preferred.
• A background in community outreach and engagement, particularly with underserved populations, will be advantageous.
• Knowledge of local community resources and service networks in Maryland will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
