We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Director, Site Reliability Automation Engineer Team Lead to join our Production Services/SRE team. This role is located in Lake Mary, FL.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Lead and mentor a team of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and DevOps engineers across multiple locations and time zones.
  • Define and drive technical strategy for deployment automation and infrastructure reliability, ensuring high availability, scalability, and reliability of infrastructure and deployment systems.
  • Design, develop, and operate automation platforms supporting continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD), leveraging backend services primarily in Python and Go.
  • Manage cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments, including MS Azure and on-prem Private Cloud, using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible, and container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred. 10-12 years of related experience required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus. Previous success in technical engineering Coding experience beyond simple scripts
  • 8+ years of software engineering experience, including DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering roles.
  • 2-3+ years of engineering leadership or team management experience.
  • Strong programming experience in Python or Go.
  • Deep understanding of Linux systems and distributed systems architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP).
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD platforms or deployment systems.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of databases and messaging systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, RabbitMQ, SQS).
