Job description

Job Title: Test Automation engineer
Location: Cupertino, CA
Onsite/ Remote: Onsite

Job Description:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for AWC web applications
Build and execute UI, functional, regression, and integration test suites
Develop API test automation for Teamcenter RESTful services
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent)
Collaborate with AWC developers to define acceptance criteria and test coverage
Triage, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA or equivalent
(Onsite lead) Serve as the primary liaison between offshore team, developers, and product stakeholders
Maintain test documentation, coverage reports, and release sign-off artifacts

REQUIRED SKILLS
5+ years of test automation experience on web applications
Hands-on experience with UI automation frameworks — Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress
Proficiency in Java or Python for writing and maintaining test scripts
Experience with REST API testing tools such as Postman or RestAssured
Familiarity with Teamcenter / Active Workspace UI workflows and business objects
Working knowledge of Git/GitHub and CI/CD integration for test pipelines
Experience with test management tools (JIRA, Zephyr, TestRail, or similar)
Ability to work effectively in an Agile/Scrum environment
