Job description

Location: Marlborough, MA - "The Recovery Connection" Peer Recovery Program

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Pay rate: $54,000-$57,000/annually

The PRSC Program Director is responsible for:

  • Overseeing the strategic and day-to-day operations of the Recovery Center, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, recovery-oriented services.
  • Supervising staff and volunteers, provides regular peer supervision and leadership development, and ensures ongoing training and capacity-building for all team members.
  • Playing a vital role in enhancing recovery coaching efforts, developing strategies for continuous improvement, and maintaining a safe, supportive, and effective service environment. 
  • Working beyond a standard 40-hour week, and a strong commitment to the Center’s mission and the needs of the recovery community. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in behavioral health, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or another related field preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of supervisory experience and/or experience in a similar management position preferred. 
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a substance abuse, mental health, or other related behavioral health program required. 
  • Lived experience with addiction recovery preferred 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required. 
  • Must display the use of appropriate independent judgment to determine appropriate course of action in resolving problems and in emergencies.Â
