Job Title: Quality Control Technician

Job Description

The Quality Control Technician supports a food manufacturing production line by ensuring product quality, consistency, and safety in a structured, predictable environment. This role trains new workers, maintains high housekeeping and sanitation standards, and collaborates closely with production leadership to ensure smooth handovers between shifts. The technician applies strong attention to detail and quality assurance practices within a cookie production and packaging operation.

Responsibilities

  • Train new workers thoroughly on quality control procedures, production processes, and safety practices to ensure they perform their tasks correctly and consistently.
  • Maintain housekeeping and sanitation standards to support a clean, safe, and compliant food production environment.
  • Work closely with Production Supervisors and other production leaders to ensure effective production handovers between shifts, including clear communication of issues, priorities, and status updates.
  • Apply quality control and quality assurance methods to monitor food manufacturing and packaging processes and ensure products meet established standards.
  • Inspect products, packaging, and production processes regularly to identify defects, deviations, or nonconformities and take appropriate corrective actions.
  • Support consistent production flow by helping to achieve productivity goals while maintaining quality and safety standards.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation and a results-oriented approach in daily tasks, focusing on continuous improvement in quality and efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively in both Spanish and English with production staff and supervisors to address quality issues, provide guidance, and support teamwork.

Pay and Benefits
