Volunteer law enforcement officers are individuals who assist police departments and other law enforcement agencies without receiving regular monetary compensation. They often help with community outreach, administrative tasks, traffic control, and some may receive specialized training to work alongside sworn officers. While their duties vary by agency, they play a key role in supporting public safety and building relationships within the community. These positions can include titles such as reserve officers, auxiliary officers, or police volunteers.
