Job description

Looking to help somewhere with nice dogs and a caring team? Paws With A Cause is looking for help for our Canine Care Team and our groomer. We have Labrador Retrievers, Golden Retrievers, Standard Poodles, and Papillons that all love to play outside... and they always seem to find the mud. We love giving our dogs special spa treatments to help them relax and have a great day, and dogs going out to clients get that finishing touch to make them extra beautiful as they embark on their next stage of life. We would love help getting our dogs trimmed and polished as they play, train, and prepare for their working career!

We’re looking for help with the following:

  • Bathing
  • Brushing
  • Trimming
  • Experience grooming, shaving, and trimming Poodles hugely appreciated!

Days we need help:

Typical days are Monday - Friday

Typical hours from 10am - 3pm*

Hours may vary with number of dogs on campus, number of placements, or other needs

PAWS equipment:

  • Elevated, walk-in tub
  • Grooming table with foot pedal height adjustment
  • Forced air dryer
  • Floor driers and kennels in the grooming room
  • PAWS provides grooming materials (shampoo, conditioner, clippers, scissors, thinning shears, etc.)

Conditions Statement:

PAWS’ dogs are young and energetic. They may engage in behaviors such as jumping, pulling on the lead, and mouthing. Dogs may be between 30-80lbs. Some lifting may be required. PAWS’ floors are tile and concrete and may become slippery when wet. Grooming rooms may become hot and humid with use. Exposure to allergens such as dirt, hair, and dander is unavoidable.
