THE JOB:
As a Lead Kitchen Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the dishes, glassware, flatware and the dish area. You will also set the stage for our team by demonstrating your leadership. With your 2+ years of kitchen stewarding/dishwashing experience, you will help our team members ensure how kitchens maintain the standards of cleanliness that are impeccable. If you are someone that aims for top tier results, we want you for this role!
THE STARTING RATE: $20.05
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
  • Remove washed dinnerware, flatware, and glassware from dishwasher and stack them according to size and likeness for future use, return items not satisfactorily cleaned for a second wash
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of supply/storage closets; remove trash, wipe down shelf and counter; clean floor, remove items which do not belong and place in correct area
  • Receive soiled dinnerware, flatware, and glassware, sort items according to size and likeness
  • Sweep and mop kitchen floor, scrub the wall and trashcan, pick up trash in assigned area and clean floor mat
  • Check the condition of the dishwasher machine in accordance with specifications
  • Change dishwasher machine water and filter, refill as specified to ensure wares are properly cleaned
  • Maintain cleanliness and working condition of garbage disposal
  • Transport garbage container from kitchen and work area to dumpster; empty and clean

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • 2+ years of prior relevant kitchen worker experience in a similar high-volume environment is preferred
  • Able and willing to work a full-time schedule, variable shifts, to include weekends and holidays
  • Lead or supervisory experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of health, safety and sanitation regulations

Pay Rate
The rate for this role is:
$20.05
This rate represents a good faith estimate of the wage rate that MGM reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire.
Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage.
Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
