Job description

Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! MCCS is a comprehensive program that supports and enhances the quality of life for Marines, their families, and others in the Marine Corps Community. We offer a team oriented environment comprised of military personnel, civilian employees, contractors and volunteers who keep the organization functioning smoothly and effectively.Qualifications:

What are we looking for?

  • Three years of experience in group exercise instruction.  

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in exercise physiology, exercise science, or other closely related field.  

  • Certification in group exercise is required from an organization recognized by Headquarters Marine Corps (ACE, AFAA, ACSM, NSCA, Cooper Institute).  

  • Certification in one "specialty" format (i.e., step, cycle, Pilates, kickboxing, yoga) is required.  

  • Ability to develop and implement exercise classes.  Must be CPR/AED and First Aid certified.  

  • Ability to supervise; deal effectively with subordinates, management officials, and patrons; communicate both orally and in writing, to include public speaking.  

  • Ability to use a computer and various software, including Microsoft Office.  

  • Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid driver's license.
