Job description

Share Your Music. Bring Joy. Make a Difference.

Gentiva Hospice is looking for compassionate volunteer musicians to become Harmony Companions (HC) and share the gift of music with our hospice patients and the communities where we provide care.

As an HC, you'll use your musical talents to create moments of comfort, connection, and joy. You may play for an individual patient, share familiar songs in a common area, or visit one of our partner facilities and bring live music to residents who simply enjoy listening, singing along, reminiscing, or spending time with someone who shares their love of music.

This is not a music therapy position. No music therapy degree or professional certification is required. We are looking for individuals who are proficient and comfortable playing an instrument and who genuinely enjoy using their musical talents to brighten someone else's day.

We're open to all instruments-guitar, piano, ukulele, violin, flute, harmonica or anything else you're comfortable playing!

This is a wonderful opportunity for musicians of all backgrounds, including hobby musicians, students, retirees, and lifelong performers, to use something they love to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
