Mueller Sports Medicine was established in 1960 by Curt Mueller to fill a need for quality products for use in athletic training rooms. Over the years, Mueller Sports Medicine has expanded to provide Quench Gumยฎ, hinged kneed braces, No Glareยฎ Strips, latex- and neoprene-free braces with the Hg80 Mueller Mercury line, Soccer Careยฎ and Life Care for Herยฎ product lines, and Mueller GreenTM. Mueller continues to be a family-owned, Wisconsin based company dedicated to the sole mission of sports medicine. We have over 120 associates, working together as a high-performance team in Prairie du Sac, WI.
POSITION OVERVIEW: Internships usually begin the end of May through early September. Mueller Sports Medicine (MSM) looks for candidates that are academically strong with a passion for their field of study. MSM provides opportunities for internships in marketing, innovation, purchasing, logistics, information technology (IT), finance and accounting, or customer service. An intern can expect to virtually and/or in-person meet with associates, vendors, customers to explore future career opportunities. If the intern chooses to take the internship for credit, MSM is willing to accommodate any recordkeeping or evaluation requirements.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Completed two years of post-high school education and enrolled for the fall semester at a technical college or four-year university. Pursuing a degree in a field of study related to the area of the internship.
Have a grade point average sufficient to be considered in good academic standing.
Ability to understand and comply with Mueller Safety Systems and current regulatory requirements.

Previous work experience or internships in the field or a related field of the internship.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills; ability to stand or sit, bend or stoop, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light weights of up to 20 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate office equipment and read. The team member frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. Position requires frequent typing. Position may require limited local business travel.
