American Traveler is seeking an experienced Transplant RN for a day shift position requiring a valid CA RN license and Epic experience in an outpatient transplant care setting.

• Transplant unit within an acute care hospital setting,
• Handles both inpatient and outpatient transplant care coordination,
• Day shift schedule: M-F, 5x8-hr shifts (8:00-15:30); no weekends or holidays,
• EMR: Epic Phoenix (strict requirement); outpatient Epic experience required,
Job Requirements
• Active CA RN license required,
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC only) required,
• ACLS certification preferred,
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required,
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required,
• Proficiency in Epic Phoenix required; outpatient Epic experience specifically required,
• Cardiology background and skills including EKG/ECG, lab result interpretation, and medication reconciliation are preferred,
• Two supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration,
• 7-year work history verification required,
Additional Information
• Coordinates all aspects of transplant patient care including record review, medication refills and prior authorizations, patient education, and review of test, procedure, and lab results,
• Acts as a liaison between administrative staff, clinical staff, and physicians across the transplant department and other involved departments,
• Supports patient discharge planning, admissions, and carries out care orders per physician direction and hospital policy,
