What is a volunteer computer science internship?

A Volunteer Computer Science Internship is an unpaid program where individuals, often students or recent graduates, gain practical experience in computer science by contributing their skills to organizations, non-profits, or community projects. Interns typically work on software development, coding, IT support, or data analysis tasks under the supervision of professionals. This type of internship helps participants build their technical skills, expand their professional network, and enhance their resumes, all while supporting a cause or organization in need.
