Job description

As a Data Analyst, you will assist diverse stakeholders by leveraging data analytics tools to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency, including managing the ongoing preparation, retrieval, and transfer of data.

This position is in the General Services Administration (GSA), Public Buildings Service (PBS), Office of Portfolio Management.

We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.

Qualifications:

The GS-13 salary range starts at $108,173 per year.  
To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or higher in the Federal service.

Specialized experience is experience providing strategic and tactical guidance related to portfolio management program areas, for real property asset management and all aspects of regional portfolio planning and metrics. This experience must include:

  • Delivering analytical assistance for data initiatives by assisting with the design and optimization of methods and tools aligned with organizational objectives;
  • Creating reports, dashboards, and data analyses that support stakeholders in decision-making processes;
  • Partnering with stakeholders and subject matter experts to help determine necessary data sources for analysis, as well as contributing to strategies for acquiring, integrating, and storing data; and
  • Translating research and analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations while customizing communications for diverse stakeholder groups across varying technical levels.
