Long Description
Role Summary
Production support to Welding Assembly lines, equipment fault recovery, electrical trouble shooting, pneumatic trouble shooting, mechanical aptitude/ability to use hand tools, ability to work in a fast paced environment, Fanuc robot knowledge/programming.
Key Responsibility
  • Improve department communication through turnover activity and interpersonal relations.
  • Increase productivity of department by managing troubleshooting, and PM activities through proper distribution of personnel resources.
  • Contribute to the 5S, housekeeping of the entire plant, including but not limited to, being on call for any oil spills, environmental problems.
  • Completion of miscellaneous duties and projects, excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Any other duties deemed necessary or appropriate.
  • Able to work shutdowns, Holidays.

Key Qualifications / Requirements
  • Must be able to drive forklift and maintain certification.
  • Must be able to work at heights.
  • Must have strength and stamina to lift and maneuver heavy objects.
  • Electrical 12-volt dc to 600-volt ac basic working knowledge.
  • Problem Solving - Recognize and solve the malfunctioning of the machine and recognize and solve quality problems of formed part.

Knowledge and Education
  • HS diploma/GED + advanced technical training in electrical, mechanical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and robotics.
  • Prefer USDOL Journeyman's certificate or equivalent work experience or skills training.

Work Experience
5 years previous employment in a manufacturing environment - automotive preferred.
