Volt Job Fair - Tuesday, July 28th, 2026
Time: 10am to 2pm
Location: Best Western - 1814 State Hwy 31 E, Athens, TX 75751
Volt is immediately hiring Warehouse Workers/Picker Packers in Athens, Texas.
As a Warehouse Worker/Picker Packer, you will:
  • Transports merchandise onto worktables, pallets, conveyors, push carts, bins, shelves, trailers, staging areas, forklifts, and/or trucks.
  • Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
  • Pulls and packs product based on daily orders.
  • Meets specifics of customer orders in a timely manner.
  • Keeps products separated, organized and in good rotation.
  • Operates various pieces of equipment (i.e. RF scanner, Forklift - Stand up Reach or Jungheinrich).

This is a full-time, long-term temp to hire opportunity.
Schedule:
  • 1st - Monday through Friday 6am- 2:30pm $17.00 per hour
  • 2nd- Monday through Friday 2pm-10:30pm $19.00 per hour
  • 3rd- Monday through Friday 9pm-6am $20.00 per hour

The Ideal candidate will have:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 1 year experience preferred
  • English communication skills
  • Must be able to pass a Background and Drug Screen
  • Must be able to repeatedly lift (40 pounds), bend, reach, twist, and stand

Pay Rate: $17.00 to $20.00 per hour - depending on shift
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
