Position Title: Boys Volleyball Coach Program Assistant (Fall 2026)
Salary/Pay Scale: $3,197
Requirements:
-New York State coaching certification https://www.highered.nysed.gov/tcert/certificate/coaching.html
-Completion of CDC or NFHS Concussion Management Course.
-Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills with an emphasis on academics, sportsmanship, and character development.
-Possess the ability to provide a challenging, first class, positive experience for our students, while striving for excellence and teaching lifelong lessons.
-Two years of successful sport specific modified or JV coaching and volleyball participation experience preferred.
Description:
The program assistant works within all levels of a sport program including varsity, JV, and any modified teams. The program assistant works to ensure that there is continuity throughout the program. This may include, but is not limited to: attending, assisting and conducting practices at all levels; attending and assisting a coach at contests; assuming the role of coach in the absence of any coach in the program as needed; working closely with the varsity coach to develop and monitor goals of the entire program at all levels; and any other tasks as assigned by the varsity coach or athletic director.
