Job description

Apply 6-month temp/contract assignment Location: New York, NY 10081 Start Date: April 20, 2026 Pay Rate: $35.00/hour The Industrial Designer works within our design team to develop design assets, including packaging concepts, design prototypes, and product visualization, and will report to the Creative Director. They bring their design expertise with a strong sensibility of the beauty industry to the process. Duties and Responsibilities Translate our strategic product and company objectives into innovative packaging solutions

Develop custom packaging designs for specific beauty brand customers. Visualize packaging ideas through compelling and inspiring product presentations. Collaborate closely with our engineering, sales and design team during the design process and align on strategic design narrative and output.

Be hands-on and create packaging prototypes using 3D printing and other tooling methods. Assist with turning market and competitor insights into internal product analysis. Work with our design managers and demonstrate your own strong decision-making to maintain an on-brand design language and exceptional execution to detail.

Contribute to our long-term design strategies and company development. Work within tight design deadlines and prioritize your own workload. Insert your innovative thinking and expert design point-of-view to drive our capabilities and standards.

Stimulate dialogue, inspire others, and be willing to learn more. But most importantly, have fun. Expectations/Requirements for Success BFA or MFA in Industrial Design or related fields required.

Minimum of 2 years' experience in industrial/product design. Beauty brand/packaging experience and/or strong sensibility for the beauty industry. Proficiency in Adobe Suite, SolidWorks, and KeyShot.

Exceptional 3D modeling and visualization capabilities. Experience with 3D printing and prototyping. Strong product storytelling and presentation skills preferred Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Must be able to communicate clearly and quickly to a wide audience of stakeholders and situations. Ability to successfully multitask and prioritize among running projects. Capacity to self-manage, working both independently and as part of a team.
