Job Description

The Visual Merchandiser, Central Region will support the implementation of all visual merchandising initiatives throughout the Central US region.ย ย  The Visual Merchandiser, Central will support the VM execution of store projects, pop-ups, outposts, campaign changes, and events (VIC, Press, influencer) ensuring thoughtful consistency throughout, and aligning to the standards of Maison Francis Kurkdjian.ย ย  This position will work closely with field Brand Representatives, Retailer partners, as well as lead Merchandising Education within their assigned territory; focusing on consistency and execution through virtual sessions or during store visits at counter. ย The Visual Merchandiser, Central Region reports to the Manager, Visual Merchandising.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Visual - Operational Description & Accountabilities:

  • Support the Visual Merchandising corporate team in the coordination, delivery, and execution of visual elements, such as counter units, novelty display units etc. based on market specific needs.ย ย 
  • Partner with the Visual Merchandising corporate team in supporting the creation of VM campaign schematics and adaptations for stores within the North America territory. ย 
  • Support the Visual Merchandising corporate team in creating visual presentations recapping projects for HQ, field team, and retailers.
  • Review the VM execution for each location within the respective territory and provide necessary support and feedback on a regular basis.
  • Support and partner with Brand Field Representatives on special visual requests, while working closely with Manager, Visual Merchandising, HQ, production teams, and retailers
  • Partner with Manager, Visual Merchandising on travel schedule based on store projects or the needs of the business.
  • Self-manage travel expenses and travel budgets.

Visual - Field Description & Accountabilities:

  • Communicate, develop, and train Specialist, Brand Ambassadors, Counter Managers, and brand field employees, on Maison Francis Kurkdjian visual standards and adaptations to the US market.
  • Support the merchandising of store projects and new store openings, as needed.
  • Support the coordination, merchandising, and execution of pop-ups and HQ driven events
  • Conduct store visits, to ensure shops are executed to Maison Francis Kurkdjian visual standards.
  • Guide the field team through merchandising campaign updates, whether through virtual or on-site support, aligning with the HQ calendar cadence
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in Visual Merchandising, preferably with a background in luxury beauty.
  • Exceptional visual standards and the ability to execute the Maison Francis Kurkdjian visual direction.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Solution-oriented and high sense of ownership.
  • Ability to oversee and follow through on projects.
  • Be autonomous & rigorous.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, as needed, including early mornings, over-nights, evenings and weekends to help support store initiatives.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid work environment such as, from home or an office setting, and field travel
  • Ability to travel 50%-75% of time to support both local and remote initiatives, primarily in store
  • Strong computer skills in MS Office, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Speaking French is a plus.
