Position Summary

As a Visual Merchandiser, you will bring the Jumbo brand to life by creating engaging, inspiring, and commercially effective product presentations throughout the store. You will execute visual merchandising strategies, support new product launches and seasonal transitions, and ensure every department delivers an exceptional shopping experience that encourages customer engagement and drives sales.

Working closely with Store Leadership and Department Managers, you will help maintain visual excellence while ensuring merchandising standards are consistently executed across the store.


What You'll Do

  • Execute visual merchandising standards across all store departments in alignment with Jumbo's brand guidelines.
  • Create attractive and commercially effective product displays that enhance the customer shopping experience.
  • Plan and implement seasonal transitions, promotional displays, and new collection launches.
  • Organize store layouts to optimize customer flow, product visibility, and accessibility.
  • Integrate new merchandise into existing displays while maintaining strong visual presentation and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor product presentation and make adjustments based on sales trends, inventory levels, and business priorities.
  • Partner with Department Managers to maintain visual standards and ensure merchandise is presented consistently.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to store teams on visual merchandising best practices and display execution.
  • Assist with store resets, promotional events, and special merchandising projects.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized sales floor while supporting daily operational needs.


What You'll Bring

  • Previous experience in visual merchandising, retail presentation, commercial display, or store layout planning.
  • Strong visual awareness with excellent attention to detail and the ability to interpret and execute brand standards.
  • Creative mindset combined with a strong understanding of retail merchandising principles.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and adapt quickly in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, moving fixtures, climbing ladders, and setting displays.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to train and support store teams.
  • Experience within large-format retail, toys, home goods, lifestyle, value retail, or other high-volume retail environments is considered an asset.
  • Flexibility to work a retail schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
