Job description

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and career-driven Visual Merchandiser to join our team in Orem. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the in-store experience by bringing our brand to life through compelling visual displays that reflect our quality, style, and passion for the outdoors.
As the Visual Merchandiser, you will work hands-on with some of the top brands in the industry, including The North Face, Vuori, Patagonia, prAna, Roxy, KÜHL, Under Armour, Nike, Carve Designs, and TravisMathew and more. You will ensure these brands are represented in a way that is both visually impactful and aligned with their identity, while maintaining Al's overall brand standards.
You will collaborate closely with our Corporate Director of Visual Merchandising to execute seasonal direction, maintain consistency across displays, and create an engaging shopping environment that drives sales and enhances the customer experience. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone who is career-minded and looking to grow within retail merchandising, develop leadership skills, and make a meaningful impact on store performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and execute visually compelling product displays that align with brand standards and seasonal direction.
  • Design and implement floor layouts, signage, and promotional features (endcaps, wall sets, mannequins, etc.).
  • Partner with store leadership to plan and execute seasonal resets, promotions, and in-store events.
  • Ensure high-priority and key merchandise is placed in high-visibility, high-impact areas using reporting tools.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually engaging sales floor through consistent upkeep and rotation of displays.
  • Manage visual merchandising assets including fixtures, props, signage, and P.O.P. materials.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Warehouse teams to coordinate signage, materials, and display needs.
  • Monitor and evaluate visual presentation standards, providing recommendations to improve product flow and customer experience.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of retail experience, preferably in apparel or branded retail environments.
  • Previous visual merchandising or merchandise coordination experience required.
  • Strong understanding of current visual merchandising trends and best practices.
  • Demonstrated leadership or team collaboration experience in a retail setting.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to train and guide team members.
  • Strong creative eye with attention to detail, aesthetics, and brand presentation.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, lifting (up to 25 lbs).
