Job description

Position Summary
The Visual Merchandising Supervisor is responsible for maintaining showroom readiness by executing and upholding Living Spaces visual standards. This role ensures consistent implementation of Visual SOPs, supports accurate showroom inventory, and facilitates efficient product flow to maintain a guest-ready environment. The Visual Merchandising Supervisor partners with Retail Managers and cross-functional teams to support store priorities, consistency of presentation, and high-quality guest experience.
Position Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Lead and support Visual Stylists, Service Technicians, and Janitorial partners to ensure consistent execution of visual standards, showroom readiness, and safety expectations.
  • Plan, prioritize, and communicate daily, weekly, and monthly visual execution activities, including resets, floor moves, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Execute and uphold Visual SOPs, style guides, and merchandising standards to ensure accuracy, consistency, and brand alignment across all showroom areas.
  • Partner with Operations to support accurate showroom inventory and efficient product flow, ensuring merchandise is staged, displayed, and maintained to standards.
  • Collaborate with Retail Managers and cross-functional teams to align on store priorities, operational needs, and overall showroom performance.
  • Provide day-to-day team leadership through clear direction, coaching, recognition, and real-time feedback to drive accountability and execution.
  • Monitor showroom conditions and promptly address visual and maintenance gaps that may impact the guest experience, safety, or brand presentation.
  • Reinforce guest-facing standards by ensuring the showroom environment supports selling, without direct ownership of sales results.
  • Support onboarding and training of team members to ensure consistent understanding and application of visual merchandising standards.

Qualifications
Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. 5 years of retail experience in a direct customer interactive environment required. High volume experience is preferred. Three years of supervisory experience required. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have proficient experience in Microsoft Office programs. Experience working with Tableau is preferred.

Supervisory Responsibilities: The Visual Merchandise Supervisor does not carry formal people-manager direct reports but does hold day-to-day supervisory authority over sales floor execution, team behavior, and standard work adherence. Sets clear expectations and holds team members accountable to performance, behaviors, and standard work. Actively observes team member behaviors and provides in-the-moment coaching, recognition, and corrective feedback.
Position Hiring Range
The hiring pay range provides a good faith estimate of the salary or hourly wage that Living Spaces expects to pay for the position upon hire. Pay will be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to: applicant's education, relevant work experience, knowledge, applicable and relevant skills and abilities, market demand, Company budget, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data. Living Spaces reserves the right to modify this page at any time.
Compensation: $25.95 - $33.70
Overtime pay is available for eligible, non-exempt Team Members. Reimbursement for expenses as required by applicable law and Company policy. Retail, Guest Services and Distribution Center Team Members are eligible to receive team bonus based on meeting specific goals and KPI's.
