The Regional Visual Merchandiser (RVM) is responsible for showroom resets, new openings, gallery installations, and market events involving the installation of lighting fixtures that follow a planogram provided by other team members. The RVM will lead a team of installers and electricians to support these activities in approximately 10-15 locations.

How success is defined:

ย 

  • Follow planogram directives along with additional direction from senior leadership to ensure all new product is installed per company visual merchandising (VM) guidelines.
  • Review discontinued product was removed properly at the beginning of each project and assist with additional removal if discontinued goods remain.
  • Patch and paint millwork to prepare the showroom for the installation of new product.
  • Check incoming shipments to ensure that accurate fixtures were sent from the distribution centers and 3PL centers.
  • Partner with the VM team to replace or refixture any missing items.
  • Plan and lead a team of 3rd party electricians, installers, and contractors to support the installation of all fixtures per planogram.
  • Develop a regional team of 3rd party installers whose ongoing work with Visual Comfort will support a region of stores.
  • Install vinyl text and/or logos associated with selected product or designers.
  • Partner with the Senior Director VM & Director of VM to install fixtures according to any new creative guidelines that differ from the planogram.
  • Complete project merchandising within established timeline expectations.
  • Review and complete a deficiency list (punchlist) for all showroom resets and openings.
  • Shadow other RVMs and VM Directors to stay abreast of ever-evolving brand merchandising guidelines.
  • Partner with other RVMs to assist in larger projects such as large stores or market showrooms.
  • Partner with Regional Operations Managers to ensure projects are running smoothly.
  • Maintain good working harmony with all showroom employees and regional teams.
  • Assist showrooms with returning fixtures that were not used during projects.
  • Close out each project by updating the planogram in InDesign based on how the space was merchandised.
  • Book travel in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Submit expense reports for travels in a timely fashion.
  • Perform additional tasks and new responsibilities as requested.
  • Works effectively with others in a team environment to accomplish organizational goals and to identify and resolve problems.ย

What you will bring:

ย 

  • 5 years experience in Visual Merchandising required.
  • Experience in interior design, home furnishings, or lighting industry preferred.
  • Multi-store experience required.
  • BA degree preferred, or equivalent working experience.
  • Ability to read construction/layout diagrams required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to safely use small hand tools, light duty power tools, and other electrical equipment.
  • Comfortability with electrical wiring.
  • Must demonstrate maturity in judgement, commitment, dependability, punctuality, andย ย  adherence to agreed-upon schedule as determined by manager.
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication across all contact channels, including email, chat and phone.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation Range: $107,000 - $114,000

Compensation is based on individual factors, including skill set, relevant experience, and work location
