JOB SUMMARY:
This is an opportunity to be immersed in the culture of a leading general aviation manufacturer, home to two iconic brands: Cessna and Beechcraft. As a Digital Artistry Intern, you'll collaborate closely with our experienced graphics team to create compelling visual content. From small single-engine aircraft to super-midsized jets, the projects span a wide range. In this role, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting customer presentations and marketing campaigns. This is a unique opportunity to sharpen your creative skills, contribute to real-world projects, and learn from professionals at the forefront of aviation design.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Understand and follow project briefs thoroughly, ensuring all requested deliverables are completed on time and meet quality expectations.
• Support the development of compelling visual assets for marketing materials, presentations, and digital campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand standards and project goals.
• Bring enthusiasm, curiosity, and fresh ideas to the table. Ask thoughtful questions, challenge conventional approaches, and explore innovative visual storytelling techniques.
• Be collaborative. Partner with fellow interns and cross-functional teams to brainstorm and execute creative solutions that enhance the impact of visual content.
Build engaging presentations that communicate your project journey and final deliverables.
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
• Pursuing Bachelor's Degree and programs of study in:
o Digital Arts
o Game Art Development
o Graphic Design
o Computer Animation
o Visual Effects
o Other related field
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Exceptional visual communication skills with a strong eye for composition and color
  • Meticulous attention to detail ensuring both visual precision and technical accuracy
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop or equivalent tools
  • Experience with 3D modeling in 3ds Max, Maya, or similar software preferred
  • Familiarity with game engines such as Unreal Engine or Unity is a plus
  • Professional, diplomatic, and collaborative demeanor
  • High level of accountability, integrity, and ethical standards
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Effective time management skills to handle multiple concurrent projects
  • Adaptable and resilient in fast-paced, dynamic environments
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications

Applicants must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S. for Textron Aviation at the time of making application, and visa sponsorship is not available for this position, including for F-1 students and J-1 exchange visitors who will need employment sponsorship.
Summer internships are 40 hours per week typically from late-May to early-August lasting 10 weeks.
Candidates must be able to work onsite for the entirety of the internship program unless approved otherwise by the hiring manager.
