Job description

We are seeking a proactive and creative Multimedia Content & Design Specialist to join
Amtex Media
, the in-house marketing team for Amtex Insurance. This is a full-time, in-office
role for someone with experience in videography, photography, editing, graphic design, and
visual storytelling.
If you’re someone who likes turning ideas into polished creative work, enjoys collaborating with
a marketing team, and takes pride in staying on brand, this could be a strong fit. We value
people who bring ideas, stay ahead of deadlines, and are willing to jump in where needed. You’ll
have the opportunity to work on social content, events, signage, print materials, campaigns, and
larger productions while helping grow a Texas brand with more than 25 years of history.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
Work Setting: In office
Compensation: $20–$25 per hour. Compensation may be negotiable for candidates with
relevant professional experience.

Key Responsibilities
● Develop and pitch creative concepts for social media, advertising campaigns, office
promotions, and brand initiatives.
● Collaborate with the Social Media Coordinator to plan and produce content for
Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
● Film and edit short-form videos, promotional content, event recaps, and internal
communications.
● Capture professional photos and videos of Amtex Insurance offices, employees, events,
community activities, and marketing campaigns.
● Assist with larger productions, including television commercials, brand videos, paid
advertising, and high-budget media projects.
● Set up and operate professional mirrorless cameras, lenses, lighting equipment,
microphones, audio equipment, gimbal, and other production tools.
● Manage basic lighting, framing, composition, audio recording, directing, and visual
storytelling during shoots.
● Edit video content using Adobe Premiere Pro and other professional editing tools.
● Create motion graphics, titles, animations, and visual effects when needed.
● Design branded materials including flyers, signage, billboards, social media graphics,
event materials, presentations, and other marketing collateral.
● Prepare designs for digital publishing and professional print production.
● Ensure all creative work follows Amtex Insurance’s brand standards, messaging, and
visual identity.
● Revise projects based on feedback from the Marketing Director and leadership team.
● Manage delegated design and production assignments from concept through final
delivery.
● Coordinate with printers, vendors, and other partners when needed.
● Attend office openings, community events, sponsorships, employee activities, and
company events to capture content.
● Travel to Amtex Insurance locations throughout Texas to photograph offices, film
employees, gather visual assets, and support local marketing initiatives.
● Organize and maintain photo, video, design, audio, and project files.
● Maintain production equipment and ensure cameras, lighting, audio tools, batteries,
memory cards, and accessories are prepared for shoots.
● Assist with organizing, transporting, setting up, and distributing marketing collateral,
signage, promotional items, and event supplies.
● Stay current with video, photography, design, advertising, and social media content
trends.
● Support additional creative, administrative, and marketing projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications
● 2 - 4 years of professional experience in videography, content production, graphic
design, multimedia, marketing, or a related creative role.
● Strong portfolio demonstrating video production, editing, photography, graphic design,
and marketing work.
● Bilingual English and Spanish skills are required.
● Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, including:
○ Adobe Premiere Pro
○ Adobe Illustrator
○ Adobe Photoshop
○ Adobe inDesign
● Experience with Adobe After Effects is preferred.
● Experience operating Sony mirrorless cameras and equipment.
● Knowledge of camera settings, framing, composition, lighting, audio recording, and
production workflows.
● Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, editing, and audience engagement.
● Experience designing marketing collateral such as flyers, signage, billboards, event
materials, and social media graphics.
● Knowledge of print production requirements, file preparation, resolution, dimensions,
bleed, and color formats.
● Understanding of social media formats, dimensions, platform best practices, and
short-form video trends.
● Ability to develop original creative ideas while working within established brand
guidelines.
● Ability to receive direction, apply feedback, and complete revisions accurately.
● Strong organizational, time-management, and project-management skills.
● Ability to manage multiple creative projects and meet deadlines.
● Comfortable working independently and collaborating with a marketing team.
● Bachelor’s degree in film, media production, graphic design, marketing, communications,
or a related field, currently pursuing a related degree, or equivalent professional
experience.
● Willingness to travel for on-site content creation at any of our 85+ Texas locations and
company events as needed.
● Reliable transportation and occasional weekend availability.
● Ability to lift, carry, move, and organize production equipment, marketing materials, event
supplies, signage, and promotional items as needed.
Preferred Qualifications

● Experience with Adobe After Effects, motion graphics, animation, or visual effects.
● Experience using Apple computers, iPhones, iPads, and the macOS operating system.
● Experience working with external hard drives, cloud storage, shared servers, and digital
asset-management systems.
● Familiarity with Canva or other quick-turn design platforms.
● Experience producing television commercials, digital advertisements, or larger-scale
productions.
● Experience working in an agency, in-house marketing department, or multi-brand
environment.
● Experience covering live events and producing same-day or quick-turnaround content.
● Basic knowledge of social media advertising and campaign creative requirements.
● Experience working with community-focused, bilingual, or multicultural brands is a plus
