Profound is the marketing platform for the AI era. As people increasingly turn to ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini to decide what to buy, we give brands the intelligence to see how AI represents them and the Agents to act on it. Today, ~13% of the Fortune 500, plus companies like Ramp, Figma, Chime, Calendly, and DocuSign, use Profound to turn AI Search from a black box into a measurable growth channel.
Backed by Lightspeed, Sequoia, Kleiner Perkins, and Khosla Ventures at a $1B valuation, we're a lean, fast-moving team across NYC, SF, Buenos Aires, and London, shipping at a relentless pace and defining a new category at the biggest shift in marketing in 25 years. If you want to do the best work of your career at the frontier of AI, come build it with us.
As our first and only Visual Designer, you will define and drive our visual direction, building industry-leading design assets that empower brands to win on the generative internet.
What you'll do
  • Create polished, impactful presentations, graphics, and digital assets that clearly communicate Profound's vision, value, and product capabilities
  • Move quickly to produce high-quality design assets on short timelines, balancing speed and excellence without compromising quality
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Leadership teams to translate complex ideas into visually engaging narratives
  • Work fluidly across Google Slides and Figma, adapting designs for diverse contexts including sales decks, marketing materials, and product mockups
  • Ensure visual coherence across all customer touchpoints and refine and evolve brand guidelines as needed

Who you are
  • Maintain an extremely high bar for craft and polish, with attention to detail that sets your work apart
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced environments and reliably available for quick turnarounds without sacrificing quality
  • Versatile designer with strong skills in presentation design using Google Slides and UI or design tools such as Figma
  • Located anywhere in the world and able to thrive working remotely with distributed teams
  • Strong communicator who can clearly articulate design decisions and incorporate feedback to continuously improve work

Note from our co-founder
In the evolving landscape of product development, exceptional design is not merely a nice-to-have, it is foundational. As software engineering becomes increasingly accessible, it is taste, creativity, and thoughtful execution that differentiate outstanding products from the rest.
I believe deeply that design sits at the core of our success. At Profound, my goal is to build a design team renowned for setting a new standard of excellence, crafting experiences so compelling they become benchmarks in our industry.
If you are someone who believes in the transformative power of great design and wants to create work that genuinely shapes the future, join us. Let's redefine what's possible together.
Dylan Babbs, Co-founder & CTO
