What You'll Be Doing: The Visual Design Intern supports the visual design team by assisting with a wide range of creative work-including packaging, print, and web design-primarily by adapting templates, following brand guidelines, and preparing production-ready files. They focus on accurate execution, organizing and exporting assets, and maintaining design consistency across multiple brands, while developing foundational skills through close collaboration and feedback. An ideal candidate is detail-oriented, responsive to direction, and comfortable working across a variety of established brand guidelines. They need to be proactive, and eager to grow, with a strong desire to learn and contribute to a collaborative, fast-paced creative team.

  • Execute templated design work across web, graphics, packaging, and print, following established brand guidelines and design systems.
  • Adapt designs for multiple formats and channels (e.g., resizing banners, reformatting for devices, updating copy or product images).
  • Create and update static ads (e.g., Facebook) and low-effort graphic assets such as icons or simple illustrations.
  • Export production-ready files and optimized assets for web and print.
  • Route design updates and revisions based on feedback from visual designers and QA checks.
  • Support with image editing, mockups, and asset resizing.
  • Maintain organized Figma files, components, and brand guidelines, following naming conventions.
  • Keep Google Drive folders structured and files properly named.
  • Help gather visual inspiration for photoshoots in line with brand guidelines.

  • Demonstrates basic knowledge of layout, typography, color, and hierarchy with growing confidence in applying them to real-world projects.

  • Works effectively within a team, communicates clearly, and supports shared goals.
  • Maintains organized files and assets using consistent naming conventions, helping ensure smooth workflows.
  • Eager to Learn and Grow: Takes initiative to ask questions, explore new tools, and improve design skills and efficiency.
  • Manages assigned tasks on deadline, balances multiple small projects, and escalates blockers when necessary.
  • Able to prep, export, and optimize assets for digital and print, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards.
  • Strong design portfolio
  • 0-2 years of design experience (internships, freelance, or academic work welcome)
  • Receptive to feedback with a strong ability to iterate quickly and grow through collaboration
  • Strong foundational knowledge of design principles: layout, typography, color, and visual hierarchy
  • Ability to work within brand guidelines, to follow established design templates and creative direction
  • Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Moderate-level photo manipulation skills
  • Ability to export, optimize, and prepare digital and print assets
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage time, multitask, and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred)
  • Experience within a fast-paced ecommerce, direct-to-consumer, or branding-focused environments (preferred)
  • Experience in health, wellness, or related consumer sectors (preferred)
