Job description

Opportunity:
Our global creative team consists of a diverse group of User Experience Designers, Interaction Designers, 2D/3D Visual Designers, Motion Graphic Artist, Researchers, and Prototypers. We are integrated with the interior and exterior design studios, and work collaboratively with product planning, brand teams, software teams, HMI, engineering, and outside suppliers through all stages of the product development cycle. At the core we leverage hardware, software, and strategic partnerships to support the foundational pillars that uniquely make each product meaningful and special. The goal is to enhance our brands and strengthen the relationships with our customers.
What you will Do:
As a UX/UI Visual Designer at Stellantis, you will establish the look and feel of our brands by producing cutting edge, user friendly, and visually pleasing in-vehicle interfaces for our Jeep, Ram, Dodge, and Chrysler brands. You will use your design skills to enhance interfaces so that information is easy to read, easy to understand and easy to find while upholding what makes each brand unique. You will create rich, digital experiences in a user-centered ecosystem. You will work on show cars and production vehicles. You will live, eat and breath our brands with a designer's perspective and a customer mindset. You will build bridges between technology and the customer.
Required Skill Sets & Abilities:
  • Create compelling graphical themes, from initial concept to final production artwork
  • Create Style Guides for communication to suppliers and developers
  • Use motion graphics and animation to bring the interfaces to life and better communicate the functionality to the user
  • Use critical thinking and complex creative problem solving
  • Communicate effectively in a cross-functional environment and present ideas and designs effectively
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while prioritizing workload
  • Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics with a solid understanding of layout, typography, color, and other design principles

Basic Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in game design, Entertainment Design, Communications Design, Graphic Design, UX design, Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Product Design, or related UX degree is ideal.
  • 3+ years of design experience in automotive environments
  • Proficiency in a variety of 2D tools, Figma, Adobe, Sketch, Pen and Paper.
  • Great communication skills and a history of teamwork and collaboration is a must

Preferred Requirements:
  • Experience with embedded software and hardware systems
  • Proficiency in 3D design using Autodesk, Blender, Cinema 4D, or similar programs
  • Animation/Motion design using After Effects or similar programs
  • Experience using AI as a tool and enabler for efficiency
