Position Summary
The Financial Operations Analyst is responsible for accounting and financial reporting functions related to leasing arrangements, including administration of lease accounting software. This role also supports finance leadership with cash forecasting, debt covenant compliance, and other treasury and financial initiatives.
Essential Functions
  • Coordinate weekly with the real estate team regarding new lease activity and modifications to existing agreements
  • Collaborate with operations teams and vendors on equipment lease activity
  • Administer lease accounting software updates on a monthly basis
  • Review and reconcile financial statement balances related to lease activity
  • Update cash forecasting models, sometimes daily
  • Monitor compliance with debt covenants and other financial requirements
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Non-Essential Functions
  • Serve internal co-workers and external customers, clients, patients, contractors, and vendors
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Support additional departmental initiatives as needed

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Strong statistical and mathematical skills, including forecasting and financial analysis
  • Advanced computer proficiency (spreadsheets, databases, presentations, and financial systems)
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal), including ability to present to leadership
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities with moderate complexity
  • Sound judgment with the ability to work independently under general guidance
  • Understanding of healthcare regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA) and business office practices

Education & Experience
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Certifications/Licenses: Not required

Physical and Mental Demands
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and use a computer extensively
  • Occasional standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 20 pounds)
  • Repetitive upper body motion for computer use
  • Visual requirements include close, distance, and color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
  • Ability to communicate effectively and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment & Travel Requirements
  • Primarily office-based in a well-lit, climate-controlled environment
  • May involve exposure to hospital environments, including potential biohazards
  • Noise level consistent with office or hospital settings
  • Minimal travel required (up to 10%)
