CAD Software Expertise: Minimum 2.5-5 years of experience in CAD-based design, preferably in the landscaping or architectural field. Must be proficient in AutoCAD or equivalent. Landscape Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with outdoor environments, irrigation systems, and local native plantings is preferred to ensure accurate and functional designs. Measurement Interpretation: Ability to read and translate raw digital measurement data into scalable CAD files, including elevation, slope, and zoning details. Visual Communication Skills: Strong eye for layout and composition in client-facing renderings, with the ability to balance technical detail and visual clarity. Team-Oriented & Self-Directed: Comfortable working independently while remaining responsive and collaborative with on-site personnel and leadership. Organized & Deadline-Driven: Proven track record of managing multiple design projects and revisions while maintaining fast turnaround times and quality standards.

Core responsibilities:

Project Rendering & Design Drafting: Create detailed landscape and irrigation CAD drawings using site data gathered from the Moasure digital measuring device. Translate measurements into clear, precise digital plans. Quote-Ready Visuals: Pair design files with project quotes by producing high-quality, customer-facing renderings that enhance presentation clarity and support the sales process. Collaboration with Field Team: Work closely with landscapers and the project manager to interpret site-specific conditions, ensuring accuracy and feasibility of designs based on actual field measurements. Design Revisions & File Management: Update design files based on project feedback, material changes, or site adjustments while maintaining a well-organized archive for future use and reference. Material Integration & Layout Planning: Incorporate sustainable materials, irrigation zones, and planting layouts into CAD files that reflect the company's eco-conscious and high-end service model. Workflow Communication: Coordinate deliverables and design timelines using project management tools and contribute to ongoing improvements in the quoting and project execution process.
