Job description

Milky is a fast-growing company in the wellness space with innovative products and a brand people genuinely love. As part of our mission to bring effective solutions to our audience, we create and share compelling digital content across multiple platforms. We’re looking for a Senior Design Associate to join our creative team and help bring our brand's story to life. Milky is a rapidly growing startup, which means the landscape shifts constantly and the responsibilities evolve with the business. The person who succeeds here will be someone who gets energized by that, not intimidated by it. 


What You’ll be Doing:

  • Collaborate closely with marketing team to develop Milky’s visual brand identity across marketing channels (web, social, content, events, emails) and packaging
  • Design marketing assets, including social media ads, website content, and email campaigns, with consistent visual brand identity
  • Develop diverse array of creative for A/B testing on social media, with the purpose of driving measurable business impact
  • Provide creative direction during photo and video shoots
  • Communicate your creative vision and thinking clearly and confidently with the marketing team
  • Translate insights and campaign strategies into thoughtful designs that elevate the Milky brand
  • Take ownership of your role and growth, embracing feedback and continuously elevating Milky’s creative performance




What We’re Looking For:

  • 2+ years of design experience, ideally in a CPG, startup, or e-commerce environment
  • Proficiency in design software including Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop), and Canva
  • Self-starter attitude. You are able to independently take an idea from concept to finished product.
  • Attention to detail and a desire to produce high quality work that is visually compelling and engaging
  • Agility and ability to adapt. Milky is a startup with evolving needs. You should be comfortable wearing multiple hats and managing different tasks.
  • The ability to receive feedback, understanding that the design process is iterative and business needs can change quickly.
  • Strong willingness to learn and contribute to a winning team
  • Based in Los Angeles (or willing to be)



Hours and Compensation:

Salary: $70,000 – $75,000/year (based on experience)

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: In-office Mon–Thu at our Culver City office, Fridays remote
