Job description

Founded in 1986, St. Charles Community College (SCC) has a reputation as one of the best two-year colleges in the state of Missouri. With a focus on innovation, St. Charles Community College is a leader in delivering high-quality education in a state-of-the-art learning environment. We are seeking Part-time Student Studio Lab Monitors who will supervise the Visual Art Buildings studios at SCC.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
  • Responsible to supervise the studio art classrooms during open studio hours.
  • Work Schedule: Weekday evenings and weekend days (Friday Saturday & Sunday).
  • Provide a safe working environment in each studio space and trained in the event of an emergency.
  • Oversee student sign-in procedure for classroom usage and checking out any media devices.
  • Open and close studio spaces and equipment during assigned shift.
  • Position will also work closely with campus Police (DPS) to lock and unlock building classrooms assigned during shifts.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be a current student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours.
  • Must attend a mandatory orientation and training sessions.
