Job Description

We are hiring a skilled Optical Lab Technician with hands-on experience in surfacing, finishing, and mounting. The ideal candidate thrives in a production-driven environment, maintains high accuracy standards, and understands the importance of turnaround time and product quality.

What You'll Do:

  • Bench/Mounters: Inserting lenses into frames, edging, beveling, tinting, and ensuring lenses meet correct power, axis, and prism standards.
  • Inspection: Checking frames and lenses for cosmetic and optical defects using ANSI standards.
  • Surface: Using state-of-the-art CNC optical machinery. Handling lens surface processes like taping, blocking, generating, coating, and polishing.
  • AR Department: Operating state-of-the-art Anti Reflective Coating Machinery, sorting and inspecting lenses, and ensuring they meet quality standards.
Qualifications
  • No specific educational level required - your experience speaks volumes!
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with high volume optical manufacturing is needed.
  • Precision and accuracy are paramount in this role.
  • This position requires intermittent focused effort, coupled with organizational and planning skills.
