Summary:This position manages, analyzes and improves vision systems that are computer- or vision-controller-based. This role creates, monitors, and modifies the overall system, simulation and testing, and start-up, and employs multiple advanced resources to troubleshoot and create solutions.


Responsibilities:



  • Perform Omron or Keyence Stand-alone Vision Controller by using various inspection logic

  • Perform PC based inspection program developed by vendor that using various inspection logic

  • Be responsible for incident follow-up, root cause analysis and documentation

  • Document control system and equipment configuration changes

  • Ability to install, maintain and troubleshoot relay logic, inspection flow, control components โ€“ photo eyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, Servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, tachometers and encoders

  • Inspection method understanding ability to troubleshoot various status (I/O boards, encoder, light controller, modules and devices)

  • Develop and maintain a good working relationship across all levels in the organization

  • Ability to provide enriched feedback to enhance individual performance

  • Completes all safety training as required

  • Compliance with all ELS safety programs, policies, and procedures

  • Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards:

    • Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain

    • Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container



  • Follow LGESMI existing cleaning SOPโ€™s during downtime (e.g. line stop, waiting time, etc.), which includes cleaning your designated machine and/or surrounding work area

  • Perform other duties as assigned


Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma/GED required

  • Vocational Certificate or Associates Degree preferred or equivalent, relevant experience


Experience:



  • 1 to 3+ years of related machining experience or equivalent, relevant experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to do the following repeatedly for a period of up to 12 hours up to 7 days a week:

    • Lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds

    • Stoop, twist, bend

    • Reach overhead

    • Sit and/or stand
