Job description

AI Signal Research, Inc. (ASRI) is recruiting for senior technical subject matter experts in various Test & Evaluation (T&E) focused disciplines to be based in the Huntsville, Alabama area. The candidate(s) will have demonstrated “hands-on” experience and peer recognized extensive expertise in one or more of the following T&E technical areas as applied to complex aerospace and related systems: structural dynamics; electromagnetic environmental effects; natural and induced climatic environmental effects; propulsion and energetics; advanced instrumentation design and applications; data acquisition and management; distributed live, virtual, constructive approaches; cybersecurity; and novel applications of artificial intelligence/machine learning technology to T&E applications.

These positions, reporting directly to the ASRI President, work in collaboration with ASRI’s Senior Technologist to provide technical subject matter expertise in appropriate technology area to ASRI’s customers. Technical support may include but not limited to comprehensive analysis, risk identification & management, complex troubleshooting/failure resolution, identification of novel approaches to improve effectiveness and efficiency of execution, and similar effort to advance the state of the art in area of expertise.

Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in an applicable engineering/technical discipline is required.

Months/Years of Experience: Minimum of fifteen (15) years professional technical experience in the T&E technical area of expertise to include demonstrated “hands-on” applications with complex aerospace or related systems.

Required Qualifications: U.S. Citizen. Security Clearance Required. Strong verbal and written communication skill. The applicant must demonstrate “peer” recognition of subject matter expertise in one or more of the defined T&E technical areas. Recognition may be through technical publications, participation in policy establishing committees or similar, advanced degree (MS or PhD), performance awards related to the technical area of expertise, or other applicable recognitions.

Desired Qualifications: Master’s degree and/or PhD degree and professional development including honors, publications, professional licenses, and certifications along with similar evidence of professional accomplishments is desired. Twenty plus (20+) years of experience is desired. Expertise with US Military Weapon Systems and understanding of the overall DoD systems research, development, testing, evaluation, and acquisition system enterprise. Strong network and connectivity across the Federal Government, DoD, and/or Commercial enterprise in area of expertise.
