The Coordinator for Virtual Career Development is an integral member of the Office of Career Education (OCE). OCE supports the retention, graduation, and career success of Marshall University undergraduate and graduate students and alumni by providing holistic, inclusive, and impactful career education services and programs.
This position focuses on the career and professional development of students, with an emphasis on career readiness, virtual learning, and the development of professional competencies through innovative and accessible educational experiences.
The Coordinator collaborates across the university to advance strategic initiatives that enhance student engagement and career success in both virtual and in-person environments. This position reports to the Assistant Director of Marketing and Student Engagement and is based on campus.
The role may require occasional evening and weekend programming and the use of multiple service delivery modalities, including virtual and in-person formats.
Salary Range $44,918-$58,939 - Salary is commensurate with education, experience and internal equity Salary Type Salary Time Type Full-Time Work Location MU - Marshall University
Qualifications

Required Qualifications
Education
Master's degree in Instructional Design, Human Resource Development, Higher Education, Student Affairs, Student Development, Social Work, Counseling, Workforce Development, or related fields.
Experience
